Where will this event take place?
This event will take place on the campus of Missouri Southern State University (3950 Newman Rd, Joplin, MO 64801) on the southwest corner of "Green and Gold BLVD" and Duquesne Rd (the MSSU soccer fields).
When is this event?
This event will take place on March 28 from 11am-2pm.
What age is this event for?
We have three egg hunt moments this year! The PreK Egg Hunt kicks off at 11:30 AM for all ages 0 through PreK.
Then we’ll have two exciting Helicopter Drops — the first at 12:30 PM and the second at 1:30 PM — both for kids ages 5 through 12.
This event is truly for the whole family, but please note that age limits will be in place for the Helicopter Drop areas and the inflatables to help us keep everything safe and fun for everyone.
Does this event cost anything?
This event is COMPLETELY FREE! Bring your family and enjoy the event!
Do I need to register?
No registration is required, simply show up!
Where do I park?
We will have multiple parking areas available. When you arrive at the event, simply follow our parking lot attendees directions.
Once I arrive, where do I go?
Once you’re parked, simply follow the event signage directing you to the main entrance. Our team will be there to welcome you, answer any questions, and help you sign up for giveaways.
From there, we’ll guide you to the appropriate areas for food, egg hunts, and activities.

Will my child get enough eggs?
This year we have 110,000+ eggs ready for the hunt, plus a surplus of candy in buckets that volunteers will be handing out. Each drop time has been carefully planned to ensure fairness, manageable crowd sizes, and plenty of opportunities for every child to participate. Our team has worked hard to create a fun, organized experience so kids can enjoy the moment without feeling rushed or left out.

Can I bring my whole family?
Absolutely! Anyone and everyone of all ages are welcome at this event. While there will be age-appropriate limits for our inflatables and Helicopter Egg Drop areas, the entire family is invited to come and enjoy the day together.
Here’s how it works:
🥚 PreK Egg Hunt — 11:30 AM
For all children ages 0 through PreK.
No matter what color bag you receive, all littles hunt together at 11:30 AM.
🚁 Helicopter Egg Drops — Ages 5–12
There are two drop times: 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM.
When you enter the event, you’ll receive a colored bag. That bag color determines whether your child participates in the 12:30 or 1:30 helicopter drop.
