Kids

Discover the opportunities FP Kids have to put JESUS FIRST in their lives.

We partner with families to help kids know Jesus, grow in their faith, and learn what it looks like to put Him first in every part of their lives.
From birth through 6th grade, FP Kids provides safe, fun, and engaging environments where kids can build friendships, discover God’s Word, and take their next steps with Jesus.

Sundays in Kid City

Sundays | 9:00 + 10:30 AM | Joplin + Carthage

Kid City is where Sundays come alive for kids!

Each week, kids experience age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, games, activities, and relationships with leaders who care about them.

Everything we do is designed with one goal in mind: helping kids put Jesus first by giving them a biblical foundation they can carry into their everyday lives, everywhere they go.

Wednesdays Midweek at FP Kids

Wednesdays | 6:00–7:30 PM | Joplin + Carthage

Midweek is an intentional space to grow in faith, build community, and find encouragement right in the middle of the week.

For FP Kids, that means Bible teaching, small groups, games, and conversations that help kids dig deeper into God’s Word, ask questions, build friendships, and understand what they believe.

It’s another opportunity to help kids put Jesus first—not just while they’re at church, but everywhere they go.

FOREST PARK KIDS POLICIES

Security

Your child's safety is of utmost importance to us. Our policies and procedures make Forest Park Kids a secure place for them to learn and grow. On arrival at any one of our campuses, our friendly volunteers will help you check in your child using our secure check-in system. You will receive a security tag that must be used when you return to pick up your child. This ensures that only you and other people you have authorized have permission to take your child from our care.

For more information regarding specific procedures, contact the Forest Park Kids leader on your campus.

Wellness

Being sick is no fun, but spreading it is even worse. We ask parents and guardians to commit to helping us by following these guidelines.

Please do not bring your child if he/she has the following symptoms:

  • Fever (within the past 24 hours)
    • This includes fevers that are controlled with fever reducers
  • Vomiting or diarrhea (within the past 24 hours)
  • Rash
  • Inflamed throat or mouth
  • Colored discharge from eyes or nose
  • Unusual irritability or fatigue

If your child develops any of these symptoms while in our care, you will be notified immediately and asked to keep your child with you for the remainder of the activity time.
