Amazing Race Christmas Party

December 4th, 2025

If you're 18-30, simply show up at our Joplin Campus Fellowship Hall on December 4th at 6pm as we begin our AMAZING RACE through Joplin!! This scavenger hunt is designed to be super competitive and super fun as your teammates travel through Joplin solving clues and striving to be the fastest team to return with the most clues solved. Here are the details:

  • Teams will consists of however many members you can seat (legally) in one car.
  • A maximum of 5 winning team members will be awarded. Have 6 on your team? Only 5 members will get an award if your team wins.
  • 5 team members from the winning team will be awarded a $50 Amazon gift card.
  • Upon your arrival at 6pm, all rules will be explained and teams will be named.
  • Whichever team arrives at the final destination with all clues solved in the fastest time, will win.
  • Don't have a team? Simply show up at 6pm and we will assign you to a team.

After our Amazing Race concludes, we will have an awards ceremony along with a fully catered meal. Our night will conclude no later than 8:30pm.

We exist to create and disciple a sincere community who put "Jesus First" in all things.

Whether you're a Young Adult who's in college, grad school, or simply looking for a church home and community, FP Young Adults is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus and build strong friendships.

Are you a Young Adult looking to strengthen your faith through Biblical teaching and community? "The Gathering" is a Young Adult Worship Service where we worship Jesus and study His word together in a group setting. This gathering is intentionally designed to help grow young Adults in their walk with Jesus and provide a setting to meet fellow believers who are in the same stage of life.

FAQ'S

Who is FP Young Adults For?
Anyone aged 18-30 years old is welcome at our weekly gatherings!
Where does The Gathering take place?
We host our meetings in our Forest Park Joplin campus Chapel.

Simply enter the "Chapel" door (on the north side of the building) or either main lobby door and follow the signs!
I'm newly married. Can I attend The Gathering?
Our gatherings are predominately filled with single young adults, but newly married couples are welcome at our gatherings as well!
If I get involved, what's expected of me?
We ask that any and all who participate in FPYA to be respectful of others (in gatherings, events, etc) and keep their relationships and interactions with the opposite sex appropriate and respectful at all times.
What else does FP Young Adults offer?
It's our goal to help Young Adults grow in every area of their walk with Jesus. In the future, we hope to host mission trips, small groups, and opportunities to serve.
